Starting point
Poker Play & Stay offers players accommodation for major poker tours in European casinos. The client needed a website that displays a tour calendar and converts each event into an accommodation inquiry.
The offerings are constantly changing: tours repeat multiple times a year, at the same casinos, with the same partner hotels. Therefore, the content needed to be organized so that a casino, hotel, or country, once entered, would automatically link to every new event, without manual page creation.

What we built

Event Model
Each event includes start and end dates, buy-in, guaranteed prize pool, venue, and tournament schedule.

Three distinct content types: 7 casinos, 26 partner hotels, and 9 countries, each with its own page and archive.

Two separate event lists with cards displaying dates, buy-in, and guaranteed prize pool, with additional items loading on click.

Description, schedule, accommodation, casino map, link to the casino, and a list of similar events all in one place.

Accommodation Inquiry
On event, casino, and hotel pages, visitors can choose a contact channel: WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, phone, SMS, or email.

Featured events in a carousel and sections for events this month and next month.

Country Guides
Country pages with recommendations for excursions, food, and nightlife, along with a list of partner casinos and hotels.

Technical decisions

Events as a Separate Content Type
Events are not ordinary pages but records with consistent fields. This allows event cards, lists, and pages to be automatically generated, requiring the client only to input data. Currently, the site features 105 events.

Connections via Venue and Country
Events, casinos, and hotels share a venue tag, while casinos, hotels, and countries share a country tag. This enables each casino to automatically display its upcoming events and partner hotels, and each country to show its casinos and hotels.

Every Page Leads to an Inquiry
A contact channel block is located on event, casino, and hotel pages. Visitors do not need to search for a contact page when they have decided to travel.

Archive of Past Events
Completed events do not disappear; instead, they are moved to a separate list. This allows the page to also showcase the history of tours at the casinos with which the client collaborates.

Where it stands today
The website has been operational since 2024. To date, 105 events have been published across 7 casinos, with 26 partner hotels in 9 countries.
